This class is designed specifically for Lower Secondary students (Form 1–3 / Year 7–9) who want to build a strong, lasting foundation in English.

What's taught:

• Core grammar concepts, essay and creative writing, reading comprehension, vocabulary expansion, and oral communication skills
• Designed in accordance with what students are expected to know at this level

Topics covered:

• Tenses and sentence structure, comprehension strategies, narrative/descriptive/argumentative writing, summary writing, and presentation skills, plus dedicated support for school homework and assignments

Structure:

• Lessons progress from foundational grammar and comprehension in early sessions toward more advanced writing and speaking tasks. Content can also be adapted week-to-week to align with what the student is currently covering in school

Delivery method:

• Sessions are conducted live online (small group or 1-to-1)
• Using guided worksheets, real writing samples, and interactive discussion rather than passive lecturing

Teaching style:

• Structured but supportive. I break down concepts step-by-step, encourage questions, and give honest, constructive feedback so students actually understand why something works, not just memorize rules.
