Unexpected energisation or the release of stored energy can cause serious injuries and fatalities during maintenance, inspection and repair activities.

This practical introductory session provides participants with a clear understanding of Lockout Tagout, commonly known as LOTO, and its role in controlling hazardous energy before work begins.

Participants will learn how to identify common energy sources, isolate equipment safely, apply suitable lockout and tagout devices, and verify that equipment has reached a zero-energy state.
