About this course

(I teach best in English following the Dual Language Program, but I can work with Malay as well.)

This course covers every single chapter in KSSM Chemistry, from Form 4 all the way to Form 5.

I won't teach chapter-by-chapter as you may learn in school, however; instead, my classes will directly target your weaknesses in the subject so you can answer the next exam better!

As such, I'll spend the first class getting to know you. You may prepare answers to the following questions:

  • What are your most recent Chemistry examination marks?
  • What topics or skills do you think you struggle and need help with? (This gives me a good starting point to base future lessons around, however I'll also identify any weaknesses you may not realise)
  • What topics or skills are you confident with?

It would be best if you could bring a copy of your past examination papers, or any exercises you've done – either scan and present it onscreen, or you could just snap a picture and send it to me. This will help a lot in deciding the course of our future lessons.

For the following classes, we'll be doing things tailored to your skill level:

  • Reteaching key concepts to enhance your understanding,
  • Revising said concepts to increase your mastery,

or

  • Consolidating your knowledge by doing past SPM questions/HOTS/KBAT questions

This will all be on a topical basis, prioritising your weakest topics and then moving down to strengthen your existing knowledge.

If you have an iPad or tablet that you could share the screen of as you do your working/take notes, that would be great!

Otherwise, just a regular pen and paper will be fine.

I don't require a specific way for you to do any work assigned in the class – as long as you can get it done and have a way to show me your answers (picture, screenshot) I can mark and give advice accordingly.

Hope to see you soon!
