About Me

Experienced physics; math; add math; economics; computer science tutor, as well as a freelance data engineer; data scientist; data analyst who works in the Ministry of Finance Malaysia on a full-time basis. A track record of formulating annual budget policies; developing monthly, quarterly, and annual macroeconomic nowcasts and forecasts using the Macro-econometric Model of Malaysia (MMM), Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning Algorithms; policy optimization using predictive and prescriptive analytics; as well as simulating the impact of shocks and policy measures using MMM, Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE), Input-Output models (I-O), and Agent-Based models (ABM). also responsible for communicating data in the form of presentations, technical reports, and non-technical dashboards and stories. I am looking to leverage my knowledge and experience into a role as an economist, Data scientist, and Digital Bureaucrat.
