About Me

Hi there! I have been teaching international syllabi for more than 8 years, currently at a large international school in the Klang Valley. I specialise in physics for IGCSE but also have extensive experience with general science at lower and upper secondary levels. My students at school and in tutoring find my teaching easy to follow because I am able to break things down for students to understand easily, including by linking what they are learning to their own lives. Students also say I’m funny and can build connections with them quickly. My students currently have a 100% passing rate for IGCSE physics, 90% C or higher and 60% A or A*. In terms of credentials, other than my 8 years of experience, I am currently pursuing a Master of Education in Teaching and Learning. My Experience

In both the class and as a tutor, I have more than 8 years of teaching experience. I believe strongly that every student has their own way of learning. This means that I do not use a one-size-fits-all approach in my tutoring classes. If you join my class, we will cover content, but we will also explore ways to make your learning more effective and efficient. I think that empowering the student to take ownership of their own learning is extremely important, and I will help you to do that. At the same time, we will make science and/or physics as fun, interesting and relatable to your everyday life as possible.
